SPAGHETTI AND MEAT SAUCE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground meat 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1/2 pod garlic, chopped 3/4 tsp. chili powder 1 (14-16 oz.) bottle catsup 1 (#2) can tomatoes 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. celery seed Thin spaghetti, amount desired Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste Saute meat, onion, and pepper. Add other ingredients; bring to slow boil. Turn fire very low, cover skillet and simmer for 45 minutes. Boil spaghetti per package. Serve with hot garlic bread or rolls and a tossed salad. Serves 6-8. |
