OAT BRAN HONEY MUFFINS | |
1 1/2 c. oat bran 1 1/2 c. wheat flour 1/2 tbsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 4 egg whites, beaten 1 c. buttermilk 2 1/2 tbsp. oil (corn oil is best) 1/2 c. honey Mix together. Bake in paper muffin cups in muffin pan at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 12 muffins. Low fat, low cholesterol, low sodium, high fiber. Helps reduce high cholesterol level. They're good for you and just plain good! |
