RAISIN BREAD PUDDING | |
4 slices raisin bread 2 c. milk 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Pinch of nutmeg Soak bread in scalded milk for 5 minutes. Add eggs, butter, salt, sugar and vanilla - mix well. Pour mixture into greased 1 quart dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place casserole dish in a pan of hot water in the oven. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. |
