SKILLET BEEF SUPREME | |
1/2 - 1 lb. lean beef 2 tbsp. oil 1 onion, sliced 1 green pepper, sliced 1 c. diced celery 1 pkg. frozen french cut green beans 4 tsp. cornstarch 4 tsp. soy sauce 3/4 c. water 4 oz. sliced mushrooms Cut beef into strips and brown in oil. Add onion, pepper, celery, and green beans. Cook 3 to 5 minutes. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, and water. Add to skillet. Stir in mushrooms. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring until liquid is clear, shiny and beans are tender. Salt to taste and garnish with pimento. Serve over rice. |
