NEVER FAIL SCALLOPED POTATOES 
5 raw potatoes med. size
6 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. diced onion

Mix potatoes and onion and place in greased casserole. Make sauce by combining milk, butter, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth. Pour over potatoes. Bake 90 minutes at 360 degrees uncovered.
