1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together shortening and peanut butter. Mix with remaining ingredients. Make into balls the size of hickory nuts and press top with fork.

Bake in hot oven.
