3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
1 bag chocolate stars

Cream together shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add peanut butter. Mix in dry ingredients. Roll into one inch balls and press down with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven and top each cookie with a chocolate star. Cool.
