It was FANTASTIC! I looked at our box of pancake mix and saw that there were mealworms in the box. I freaked out and threw it away but i still wanted pancakes so i found this recipe. I also ran out of vegetable oil so i decided to use almond oil instead! It tasted amazing!!!!

This recipe is the perfect pancake recipe! I didn't have mix but was craving blueberry pancakes. I whipped this up just as fast as I could have with mix and it tasted wonderful!! My family loved them too :) I added a cap full of vanilla extract and of course, blueberries. Thanks for the easy and delicious recipe! No need to buy Bisquick again!

I have used other homemade pancakes recipes that were good but not quite great and was still searching for the right recipe, well this is the one! I saw other reviews which said I will never buy box pancakes again, my husband really said it when he tasted these without even knowing about the other reviews. My girls absolutely loved it and my littlest who is so finicky finished her pancakes before anyone else. This recipe is a keeper and if you are debating on trying it debate no more give it a try it's great!!!

I needed a quick, easy recipe for some fresh blueberry pancakes this morning, and was very happy with the results of this recipe. All ingredients that were on hand already, and cooked up perfectly and deliciously. Added a touch of vanilla extract and tons of fresh blueberries... Will be making again and again! =)

I make my pancakes in the same way I make Yorkshire puddings.

4 oz. plain flour
pinch of salt
1 egg
half pint soy milk (due to my husband having IBS, we replace the cows milk with soy milk.)

Mix altogether and make in the normal way.

Made these over the weekend for the kids (and me:).

The two best thing about these pancakes is that they're easy to make and you're very likely to have all the ingredients about the kitchen/pantry.

These were almost as easy as grabbing a bag of mix, and they were much better.

I added a good bit of cinnamon to the dry ingredients and a capful of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients. Then, dropped in (thawed frozen) blueberries while the pancakes were on the griddle.

I make pancakes every saturday morning for my kids, and i have never seen or used a packet of pancake mix. This is a good recipe, but try to judge the ingredients without measuring, and you will soon be able to make these in 5 minutes when you are half asleep. Please dont buy pancake mix... think for yourself and learn to be self reliant instead.

Oh my god. These pancakes are AMAZING!!! I've been craving pancakes for 2 weeks now but everytime I go to the store, I forget the mix. Today I got so fed up that I Googled homemade pancakes and these popped up. Best. Pancakes. Ever. They even beat my Grammys pancakes and that's saying somethin!!! Thanks 'Dad' :):)
