This recipe is amazing and my kids love it!!! I won't use a box mix anymore!!

My four year old awakened me this morning, and requested pancakes, and I did not have any mix on hand. This pancake recipe was perfect and quick enough to make in a bind. I added a tablespoon of vanilla extract, which gave it a sweet, but distinct taste. I loved them! Coming from me, that says a lot because I tend not to like pancakes at all. My daughter also cleaned her plate! This is definitely a keeper!

Ever since my friends dad made homemade pancakes, I've been searching for a good recipe. These pancakes were delicious and so easy, I just added 1/2 tbsp. of vanilla!

I made the pancakes but replaced the baking powder with 1tsp. of butter, and the milk with 1 cup of water.. came out great!

I make pancakes every morning for my 5 kiddos. We always get the mix at the store, but I decided to try making my own. This is fantastic! The kids eat them all. There are never leftovers. We will not be buying store mix ever again. I just mix up enough of the dry ingredients to last the week and store in a ziplock bag. Works great! Thank you for the wonderful recipe!

The kids and grandkids stopped by unannounced one Saturday morning, and I needed a quick and easy pancake recipe. I saw this one and it was a hit with everyone. One thing I changed up, however, is that I added 5 tbsp. of Malted Milk Powder (Carnation) and it gave the pancakes a richer "malted" flavor that was second to none. I had to make a second batch. They loved it!!

This is always the one I go to when making pancakes from scratch. My kids love them. My youngest is two and she request your "mamakes" all the time. ;-)

So good. Perfect pancakes in my opinion. Just salty and sweet enough. I did add a little vanilla and cinnamon to the batter which I couldn't stop eating! My boyfriend had to take the bowl away so we'd have enough for pancakes lol :-) Thank you for a quick and completely satisfying recipe.

I'm a Mom of 4 boys, I've used box mixes ad well as homemade recipes, this by far was the BEST....simple, delish, and my boys LOVED them. Will NEVER by box or look for other recipes again.

Where have these pancakes been all my life?? This recipe is by far the father of pancakes! This is what pancakes should be and no other version should be given the name PANCAKES! I will never use another recipe in my life. My husband and kids didn't care to much about pancakes before, but after this recipe I have converted all of them!

Honestly they were yummy, light and fluffy, best recipe for pancakes.
