APPLESAUCE CUSTARD PIE 
1 c. applesauce
1 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into the unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes or until pie is firm in the center.

A simple dessert that's easy to make. Creamy apple-nutmeg goodness. I used a homemade crust and lightly sweetened homemade applesauce so cut down the added sugar to 1/3 cup. Used 1 teaspoon of vanilla instead of 1 tablespoon. Baked for about 40 minutes. Delicious as is and even better with a bit of whipped cream!
