I had a taste for pancakes but didn't have the mix. I used this recipe and added two tablespoons of Nutella. It was awesome! Thanks for the recipe dad, it was a hit in my house. Yum!

Great mix!! Try adding hazelnuts to the pancakes though and it will bring it to a whole new level. Try using fresh blueberries to make the syrup. Put water on stove with berries and bring to a boil until the berries are soft and make a nice juice, then add the sugar and follow the rest of the directions.

Enjoy!!

I have 5 kids who wanted pancakes on a Saturday morning, and I had NO pancake mix in the cupboard. I looked up homemade pancake mix and picked this one because it was called "Dad's pancake mix" and every one knows that Dad's always make the best pancakes. At least in our family they have been known to do so. :) Thanks to the Dad (or his kid) who posted this! My kids are grateful!

I had a b-day sleepover for my 5 year old and promised to make pancakes for all of them in the morning. Only to find out in the morning that we were out of pancake mix. I was desperate not to disappoint all the kids I looked online for a receipe. In the end I was actually glad to not have the mix in the cupboard b/c it was more fun making the mix homemade and all the kids helped and loved it. I never buy mix anymore b/c I love this recipe and now we use it everytime we have pancakes. Thank you! You saved my life during the b-day party.
