1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. mincemeat
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening, butter and sugars in bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Add mixture of all dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in mincemeat. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool.
