BEST BANANA BREAD EVER | |
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 2/3 cup granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking soda 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 2 eggs, well beaten 3/4 cup Wesson butter-flavored oil 2/3 cup milk 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 large bananas, well-ripened and mashed 2/3 cup walnut pieces Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift dry ingredients together; then add wet ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined, by hand. Do not over mix. No need for a mixer. Spoon into a well-greased, floured, and wax-paper lined 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan. Drop pan on counter-top 2-3 times, to remove air bubbles. Bake for approximately 45-55 minutes.
