MARINATED COLE SLAW 
1 head sliced cabbage
1 green pepper (chopped if lg., ring sliced if sm.)
2 med. onions, sliced thin, separated
1 jar (sm.) chopped pimento, drained

Arrange above in layers; Do Not Stir.

DRESSING:

1 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix and boil above ingredients for 2 minutes. Pour hot over vegetables, cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours, better if left overnight. To serve, mix lightly, lift from marinade. Serve 12.
