 Terri (California) says:
Worked great! Left out cayenne, we don't like things too spicy. It was spicy enough for us without the cayenne.

 Holly (North Carolina) says:
This is easy to make and I had all the ingredients in my cupboard. I was amazed at how good it tasted. The only thing is, if your not a big fan of spicy hot you don't have to use as much cayenne as the recipe calls for so you can make it your own!!!!

Pour on the cayenne, it is our favorite seasoning!

This is a great substitute for the store bought mix! Will never go back to buying it. First time I made it was to salty. Instead of the 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt I used 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, perfect!

I looked up this recipe because I didn't have a packet of taco seasoning. This worked great! I think I will just make this from now on instead of buying the pre-made packets!

I've used this mix several times in ground turkey tacos. Has just the right balance of heat and complex flavors. It's definitely become my go-to for taco seasoning mix!

 J Dilbeck (United States) says:
This is my default seasoning mix for ground turkey tacos. I've made it at least five times and it always turns out great. A "dash" is specifically 1/8 of a teaspoon, for those measuring the cayenne.
