PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY BARS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. softened butter
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. grape jelly
1 c. peanut butter chips

Combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add beaten eggs, stir until smooth.

Press 1/2 mixture into bottom 9 x 9 inch pan. Spread jelly evenly over crust to about 1/2 inch from edge. Sprinkle 1/2 cup peanut butter chips over jelly. Crumble remaining dough over chips. Sprinkle remaining chips on top of all.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars.
