CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 sm. bottle ketchup
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
4 c. water

Brown ground beef; drain. Mix remaining ingredients together and add ground beef. Simmer for 2 hours. (May add 2 tablespoons flour if chili doesn't thicken.)
