BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
4 lb. pork spare ribs, country style
2 sm. onions, sliced
Salt & pepper to taste
3/4 c. catsup
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Place ribs in roaster. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put sliced onions over them. Make sauce of remaining ingredients, bring to boil. Pour over ribs. Cover roaster. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally. Drain excess fat. After this baking time, remove cover and bake 20 minutes longer to brown.

This recipe is definitely a keeper - the meat on these ribs fell off the bone. I have not had success in the past with baking ribs that come out tender, but these were moist and flavorful. They exceeded my expectations. I actually forgot to baste them and they were still unbelieveable.

It was very good, and easy to prepare. I braised the meat first, and added the onions a bit before putting it in the oven. I prefer a sweeter BQ sauce, so just dipped it in my Sweet Baby Ray.
