BARBECUED BRISKET | |
5 or 6 lb. brisket 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. celery salt 2 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 c. ketchup 2 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 3 or 4 oz. liquid smoke 1/2 c. red wine Place brisket in roasting pan. Mix ingredients and pour over brisket. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove cover from pan and place in 225 degree oven. Bake for 6 hours or until tender. Slice against grain and serve with pan sauce. |
