MICRO-MEAL POTATO SCALLOP 
1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 to 5 med. potatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs.), sliced 1/8 inch thick
1 lb. lean ground beef, broken into pieces
1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

In shallow 2 quart microwave proof dish, mix tomatoes, orange peel, salt, basil and pepper. Add potatoes, mix and spread in even layer. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave on high power for 8 minutes. Stir, cover and microwave on high power for 8 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
