ROSE MARIE'S ITALIAN CASSEROLE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. thin noodles, cooked and drained
1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans Hunt's seasoned tomato sauce
2 to 3 tbsp. dried Italian herb mix
8 oz. cream cheese
12 oz. sour cream
12 oz. lg. curd Cottage cheese
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. mild grated Cheddar cheese

Add sour cream and Cottage cheese to softened cream cheese. Set aside. Add dried seasoning mix and tomato sauce to meat. Grease a 9 x 13 inch dish. Put half the noodles, then half the cheese mixture then half the meat mixture. Add the rest of the noodles. Pour melted butter over the noodles. Add the rest of the cheese mixture and meat mixture. Allow casserole to stand at least one hour (overnight or all day is even better) in the refrigerator. Sprinkle grated cheese on right before baking at 325 to 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
