CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE 
1 stick butter
A c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. self-rising flour
1 can chocolate syrup (lg. size)
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Add flour and then chocolate syrup, then vanilla. Beat a little longer. Pour into greased cake pan. (I use a long sheet cake pan.) Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar

Combine and boil for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and stir until smooth, then pour across cake.
