ONE DAY AHEAD CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
Vanilla wafers
1 sm. can crushed pineapple drained
9 oz. carton Cool Whip
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugar, egg, add pineapple, nuts and coconut. Put vanilla wafers in 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish. Pour in filling top with Cool Whip. Keep in refrigerator overnight.
