1 3/4 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixer bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes, until cake tester comes out clean.
