SPICY AUSTRIAN CABBAGE 
8 c. cabbage, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lb. bacon, cooked and drained
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1 tsp. tarragon
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
3 tbsp. grated Romano cheese

Melt butter in a large skillet and saute onion until tender. Add cabbage and toss with butter until cabbage is well coated. Sprinkle with salt, lemon pepper, and tarragon. Blend in and saute about 15 minutes, until tender. Take off heat and cool slightly. Stir in sour cream and bacon pieces. Place in casserole. Combine bread crumbs and Romano cheese and sprinkle over cabbage mixture. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.

For a cabbage dish absolutely 5 stars. The flavors blend nicely and turned out to be a delicious surprise. We added a touch of sweet Spanish paprika on top for added color and flavor. We think the word "Spicy" it isn't, so be daring and try creating this delightful dish.
