MOM'S FROZEN COLE SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, chopped
1 tsp. salt
3 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 to 2 carrots, shredded

DRESSING:

1/2 c. water
1 c. white vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix salt and cabbage. Let stand 1 hour. Drain and add celery, pepper and carrot. Boil the dressing, then cool. Put on cabbage and freeze. Keeps 1 year.
