CHINESE HAMBURGER HASH 
1 lb. hamburger

Brown in 2 tablespoons oil. Add:

1/2 c. brown rice, uncooked
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 med. onions, chopped
1 c. sliced celery
1 can mushroom pieces
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
1 1/2 cans water
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix together and turn into a large greased casserole. (I use my small roaster or Dutch oven.) Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover and bake 30 minutes. Cover with 1 can Chinese noodles and bake 15 minutes longer. (I always brown the onion and celery with the hamburger.)
