HOMINY AND CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 lg. can hominy 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 roll or 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. milk Salt & pepper to taste Drain hominy, cook over medium heat in 2/3 cup water. Melt butter in 1 quart saucepan. Blend in cornstarch and milk gradually until smooth. Blend in cheese; cook until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Drain hominy; place in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Place cheese sauce over; add salt and pepper. Blend well. Bake for 25 minutes in 350 degree oven. |
