3 raw sweet potatoes (med. size)
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 pt. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves

Melt butter in pan in which pudding is to be cooked. Peel and grate potatoes. Add other ingredients. Put mixture into pan with butter and stir well. Bake in moderate oven for over 2 hours. When top browns for first 2 times, stir up pudding again.
