ONION CHEESE SQUARES 
3 to 4 (12 oz.) onions, chopped (fresh or frozen)
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 c. milk
8 oz. shredded Cracker Barrell Cheddar (sharp)
2 tbsp. poppy seeds (optional)
1 egg (slightly beaten)

Saute onions in butter. Add together onions, Bisquick, milk, egg and 1/2 the cheese. Pour into 2 quart greased casserole or 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and poppy seeds.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown. Cut in squares.
