1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. peeled, chopped apple

Beat egg well. Add sugar and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Add to egg-sugar mixture. Add apple and nuts. Spread in well-buttered pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with sauce, whipped cream or ice cream. (Quick and easy to make. Pie forms its own crunchy crust.)
