MOTHER'S BRAN BREAD 
6 - 7 c. flour
3 c. lukewarm water
3/4 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. All-Bran
2 tbsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup of the lukewarm water. Place the All-Bran in 1 cup of the lukewarm water, and let sit while mixing remainder of the ingredients. Combine sugar and shortening in a large bowl and add the third cup of lukewarm water. Then add the All-Bran and the yeast and mix well. Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Place in a clean, greased bowl and let rise until it is double in size. Punch down and place on a floured board. Do not knead. Roll in shape and divide into 3 loaves. Grease loaf pans and set to rise until double in size. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
