ONE - DISH BRAN BREAD 
1/2 c. bran cereal, crushed
1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. yeast
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. warm water
1/3 c. maple syrup or molasses
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
Raisins or nuts

Grease large casserole. Line with crushed nuts or 1/2 cup bran. Place remaining bran, molasses or syrup, butter, milk in large saucepan. Bring to boil; let cool 30 minutes.

Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir into first mixture. Add 3/4 cup flour; beat with electric beater. Add remaining flour. Stir in raisins or nuts or both if used.

Spoon into casserole. Cover; let raise until it touches lid. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
