PRUNE ALL-BRAN BREAD 
2/3 c. prune juice
2/3 c. buttermilk
2 c. All-Bran (soak while preparing other ingredients)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
2/3 c. chopped prunes
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
nutmeats (optional)

Cream together first five ingredients. Beat one egg. Cook prunes. Stir together flour, soda, and salt. Bake in greased loaf pan one hour and twenty minutes at 325 degrees.
