CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. sliced sirloin steak
1/2 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, sliced
1 c. beef broth
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1 green pepper, sliced in 1 inch pieces
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
2 tomatoes

In skillet, brown meat with sliced onion. Stir in broth, soy sauce and garlic. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add green pepper; simmer 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch and water, mix into skillet, boil for 1 minute. Add cut up tomatoes, cook until heated. Serve over rice.
