ITALIAN SPONGE CAKE 
8 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. water
1 tsp. grated orange rind
2 c. self-rising flour

Beat eggs for 10 minutes then add sugar and beat for 10 more minutes. Add vanilla and water, grated orange rind and self-rising flour. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown or until a cake tester comes out clean.
