“POTATO BACON CHOWDER” IS IN:

POTATO BACON CHOWDER 
8 slices bacon
1 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, chopped or crushed
2 cups cubed potatoes
1 cup water
1 (10 oz.) can of cream of chicken soup
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper, to taste

Fry bacon until crisp. Add onion, garlic and sauté for 2 or 3 minutes. Drain, add potatoes and water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes. Stir in soup and sour cream. Gradually add milk and seasonings.

Heat to serving temperature. Serve with a pat of butter.

Serve.

Variation: Add 1/4 cup chopped pre-cooked leeks.
