1 3/4 c. flour 1 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. butter, melted 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans 1 (12 1/4 oz.) caramel ice cream topping Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, oats, brown sugar and salt. Add butter. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 3/4 cup mix for topping. Press rest of mix onto bottom of well greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle on chocolate chips and nuts. Combine caramel topping and 1/4 cup flour. Drizzle over chocolate chips and nuts, then sprinkle reserved crumb mix on. Bake again at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool thoroughly and chill to set chocolate. Cut in bars. |
