BUTTERSCOTCH PIE | |
Two cups brown sugar, 3 tablespoonfuls cornstarch, 2 tablespoonfuls flour, 2 egg yolks, 2 cups milk, butter size of walnut, vanilla. Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch together, add well beaten egg yolks and milk. Cook slowly, stirring constantly until thick, add butter and vanilla. Pour in baked crust, cover with beaten whites, meringue. Brown in slow oven. |
