SALISBURY STEAK 
Stack pack saltine crackers, finely rolled (about 1 2/3 c. crumbs)
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. ketchup
2 eggs
2 tbsp. onion, grated
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. cooking sherry
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp. pimento, chopped

Combine first 11 ingredients and mix well. Shape into 8 oval patties. Place in shallow baking dish. Heat soup with butter, milk, cooking sherry and garlic salt. Pour over meat patties in baking dish. Cove and bake in a moderate oven 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. During last 10 minutes of baking, add mushrooms and pimento. Makes 6-8 servings.
