SOUTHERN PECAN DIP 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. milk
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef
1/4 c. green pepper
2 tbsp. dried onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Pepper to taste
8 oz. carton sour cream
1/2 c. chopped pecans (with 2 tbsp. butter)

Brown chopped pecans in 2 tablespoons butter in 350 degree oven until crisp and golden. Remove.

Combine cream cheese and milk. Cut up the dried beef, adding it and remaining ingredients. Blend well.

Fold in sour cream and pecans. Spoon into casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers.
