| SOUR CREAM SUGAR COOKIE | |

2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 1 c. sour cream 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs, well beaten 5-6 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder Cream sugar and butter. Put soda in sour cream and add to softened mixture. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift flour and baking powder into mixture. Mix well. Chill. Roll and cut desired shapes. Decorate however you want. Bake in 375°F oven for 8-10 minutes. Makes 60-75 cookies. Always soft. | |

These cookies do stay soft, but the texture reminds me a little of a biscuit instead of a cookie. They taste just fine though.
