MARYLAND CRAB CAKES | |
1 egg, beaten 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 drops hot sauce 1 tsp. horseradish 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 lb. fresh crab meat 3 tbsp. dry bread crumbs Vegetable oil Combine first 8 ingredients; stir well. Stir in crab meat and bread crumbs. Shape mixture into 8 patties. Pour oil to a depth of 2 inches into a Dutch oven, heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry patties until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. 6 servings. |
