EASIEST & BEST HOMEMADE ALFREDO
SAUCE

This by far is the easiest and best Alfredo sauce recipe I have found yet! I love pasta and Alfredo and searched forever to make it homemade. I think that too many recipes have too many ingredients and that others are too watery. My girlfriend loves it and makes me cook it at least once a week.. plus you can add it to so many different things! This is a great, simple recipe to make for someone coming over for a dinner date ;)

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 cup half and half
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)
pepper, to taste

1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.

2. Once butter is almost melted, add the package of cream cheese. It's easiest to cut it into 4 pieces so that it melts quicker.

3. Once butter and cream cheese are mixed well together, add the cup of half and half, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and then shake pepper on top. Stir all together until well mixed.

4. Once it's mixed well and sauce-like, take it off the burner and set aside so it can thicken up. Stir every few moments.

5. DONE! Pour over your favorite pasta, I love it with tortellini!

Don't forget some bread-sticks to dip in the extra sauce! :)

Used this recipe to make my version of steak gorgonzola alfredo from olive garden. Added the gorgonzola to the sauce and it was delicious. Excited to make it again when I'm just making alfredo.

This was delicious! I had never made Alfredo sauce before, but it was super easy. I also used 2% milk instead of half and half, but I put a cup of Parm in instead of just a 1/3 of a cup. It was great!

Tried this out, simple easy to follow and tastes great. I used 100% goats milk and consistency was good.

Perfect! Delicious! Our household does Meatless Mondays, I was looking for an idea and came across this phenomenal recipe. I am going to use it to make Broccoli and Noodles Alfredo. Thank you.

This turned out great. I was worried about how it was going to turn out because I have a family of picky eaters. After dinner everyone commented about how delicious it was, I was very pleased!

It was my first time making Alfredo sauce. I added shrimp to it and served it over linguine... My husband and I absolutely LOVED this recipe.

Very very good, just wondered about switching the garlic powder out for garlic salt. I made it exactly like the recipe, but it needed lots of salt....

I love this!! It is very easy and my family loves it! To be healthy I use (Dreamfield Pasta) Penne Noodles... We are eating things that are low on the glycemic index & to cut
"pasta" without "cutting" it all together we use these. It tastes the same as regular!!
Thanks from a Full-time Worker & Mommy for an easy dinner :)

Much to involved... Easy and tasty is this:

In a frying pan put garlic in to sauté for 1 minute. Add heavy whipping cream and bring it to a boil and immediately add your precooked fettuccine noodles which will keep your whipping cream from scorching. Let you cream start to boil again but as soon as it does turn the fire off and remove the pan. Mix in grated parmesan cheese to get the creaminess and or thickness you want. No need for all that other mumbo jumbo. Add chicken, zucchini or whatever else you want.

My family is super picky! I made this sauce with some angel hair pasta and boiled some broccolli. I also had leftover grilled chicken in the fridge! I threw it all together and it was soooo good. Everyone said the sauce was the perfect cheesiness!
