EASIEST & BEST HOMEMADE ALFREDO
SAUCE

This by far is the easiest and best Alfredo sauce recipe I have found yet! I love pasta and Alfredo and searched forever to make it homemade. I think that too many recipes have too many ingredients and that others are too watery. My girlfriend loves it and makes me cook it at least once a week.. plus you can add it to so many different things! This is a great, simple recipe to make for someone coming over for a dinner date ;)

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 cup half and half
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)
pepper, to taste

1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.

2. Once butter is almost melted, add the package of cream cheese. It's easiest to cut it into 4 pieces so that it melts quicker.

3. Once butter and cream cheese are mixed well together, add the cup of half and half, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and then shake pepper on top. Stir all together until well mixed.

4. Once it's mixed well and sauce-like, take it off the burner and set aside so it can thicken up. Stir every few moments.

5. DONE! Pour over your favorite pasta, I love it with tortellini!

Don't forget some bread-sticks to dip in the extra sauce! :)

Rated it a 4 because it was so simple.. It was a little too thick. It tasted okay though. I cook for 4 men and all said it was good.

Wow this was easy and awesome, my daughter would eat alfredo 7 days a week if I let her. She wanted chicken in hers so she made up a few chicken nuggets !! Not bad for a teen twist.

This is an amazing recipe. I made it for my parents anniversary and it was a huge hit. Instead of half and half I used whipping cream. And soo simple to make.

This was an excellent recipe for short notice. I was even able to cut it in half due to shortness of supply of the cheese. I used it for Chicken Alfredo. 1 suggestion is be sure to drain your meat also the sauce has to be cooked down after adding to chicken. Sauce gets a little grainy when cooled. The sauce was delicious!!

I am definitely trying the recipe tomorrow night! It sounds amazing.. I have went through pretty much all the reviews and maybe 1 out of 20 had a bad comment.. But FYI... Alfredo sauce is a cream sauce.. Hahaha.. I will definitely post my experience!!

My niece was crazing Alfredo pasta so I found this recipe it was great and the whole family loved it I also made chicken n shrimp to go with it...Oh and it was very easy to make the only thing is I would double the recipe next time because there wasn't enough sauce so make sure you double the recipe and that's for 1 pound of pasta
