BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE 
1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter, softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs, at room temperature, lightly beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. dairy sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. mashed banana (about 2 lg. bananas)
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
Confectioner's sugar

Grease and flour a 9 or 10 inch tube pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs. Stir baking soda into sour cream and add to butter sugar mixture. Beat well. Stir in vanilla and mashed banana. Sift in flour and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and turn batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes until cake tests done. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. Makes 12-16 servings.
