GARDEN VEGETABLES WITH SEASONED
SAUCE
 
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tomato, diced
1 med. zucchini, sliced
1 sm. onion, sliced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. fresh or dry basil
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Dash of pepper

Heat olive oil and tomato sauce in saucepan. Add zucchini, onion, tomato, basil, garlic, thyme and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Serve hot as vegetable side dish or cold as salad.
