BROCCOLI CROWN | |
1 lg. fresh broccoli 1 sm. onion, chopped 4 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1 c. milk 3 eggs 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. chopped parsley Cook broccoli until crisply tender. Saute onions until soft. Stir in flour and salt. Stir in milk. Cook until sauce thickens and boils. Beat eggs slightly. Stir in 1/2 cup of hot sauce, quickly stir back into remaining sauce. Stirring constantly, cook 3 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in mayonnaise and parsley. Fold in drained broccoli and spoon into well greased 5 cup ring mold. Set dish in baking pan containing a small amount of water (as cooking custard). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
