Hi, I wonder if you ever cooked at the sadly missed Kathy-John's restaurant near UConn Storrs, CT. This Hodge Podge soup is very much like KJ's. Miss that restaurant, they closed the business years ago, but the only thing I remember that I loved to eat there was the Hodge Podge soup. Thanks, I've been searching for a similar recipe and your's fits the bill!

I grew up there, worked there also while attending UConn. Cant wait to try your version. I remember corn in it... Top it off with the turtle sundae brownie! BUT THOSE HATS!

We lived on that soup! I also think there were like cannelloni little minestrone macaroni in it. Long live KJ'S!

I miss Kathy John's Soup. My husband and I would meet there on our lunch breaks and it was our favorite!

I now own my own "kitchen" take out and I will be making this tomorrow for my customers. I hope I can pull it off as great as I remember it to be :) Wish me luck.
