TOMATO JELLY | |
6 med. size tomatoes, peeled 1 box Sure Jell 4 1/2 c. sugar 1 lemon (1/4) 1. Place tomatoes in large pan (do not add water or cover pan). Heat to boiling, simmer 10 minutes. 2. Measure tomatoes, then return 3 cupfuls to pan; stir in Sure Jell. Heat quickly to boiling, stirring several times. 3. Stir in sugar and lemon. Heat again, stirring constantly to boiling. Cook one minute. 4. Ladle into hot sterilized jar. Top with thin layer of melted paraffin. |
